The application ANTON
For everyone who doesn’t know ANTON, it’s a free learning application for children 👧👦 and young adults 👩👨 from the first1️⃣ to the tenth🔟 grade. The application covers many subjects such as mathematics🔢, German grammar🔡, natural sciences🔬, biology🧬 and music theory🎼.
As a teacher👩🏫👨🏫, it’s easy to open a group for your class📱💻. Each child must create an avatar 🦸♀️🦸♂️before they can start learning🤓. I often put some assignments at the top of the list📋. These tasks are similar to our actual school subjects🏫. For every subject a student has done🏅, he/she gets coins💰. With these coins, children can play games🎮 or buy clothes👕👖 for their avatar. This is a great idea of the producer, because that way the students stay motivated working on their duties.📝👍🏻
You might think it’s a problem that children play games🎮 during a work session at school🏫, but the producer offers a useful feature. With this function, a teacher can block the games🚫⏳ if he/she wants the students to work on their assignments📝.
There is something else the producers are working on to improve the application. Now the children can change their character's clothes 👕👖while they’re supposed to work on their tasks📝. I wrote an email 📧 to the producer and asked if there will be a feature that blocks 🚫⏳ this function while the students should work on their tasks. They promised me that they’re working on a solution.💡
In summary, this charge-free application is a perfect addition to regular school subjects and a great way to deepen your student‘s or your child’s knowledge in the important items of school 🔢🔡🔬🧬🎼.
