Arduino Serial Monitor emula il funzionamento del monitor seriale presente nell'IDE di Arduino. Con l'uscita della versione Yún può essere di gran aiuto effettuare il debug dello sketch direttamente da un iPhone o un iPad, l'App assolve a questo compito.
L'App rileva automaticamente le schede connesse alla stessa rete del iPhone/iPad e le mostra nella lista. Nel caso di configurazioni particolari in cui la scheda non è connessa alla stessa rete del dispositivo è possibile specificare a mano l'indirizzo.
Nota: Arduino Serial Monitor è fatta per lavorare solo con la versione Yún di Arduino.
