The latest update to 2023.x is a regression. The news topics are selected by the BBC and the user has no means to search, filter or personalise the news, as has been possible with previous versions.

Please bring back the old one. Now all articles are for the same topic I’m not interested in at all. My news are gone, my preferences are gone and the new layout is just too much like everyone else. At least add an option to switch to the old version/layout. Uninstalling the app otherwise as it’s not useful for me anymore.
