»BuB – Forum Bibliothek und Information« ist die am weitesten verbreitete, spartenübergreifende Fachzeitschrift für den Bibliotheks- und Informationssektor im deutschsprachigen Raum.
Sie umfasst Aufsätze, Kommentare, Diskussionsbeiträge, Interviews, Berichte und Nachrichten aus dem Themenspektrum der Öffentlichen und wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken sowie der Bildungs- und Kulturpolitik.
Zu den Autoren des Blattes zählen – neben Bibliothekaren und Informationsexperten des In- und Auslandes – auch Hochschullehrer, Politiker, Schriftsteller und Journalisten. »BuB – Forum Bibliothek und Information« erscheint zehn Mal im Jahr.

Not only librarians and information experts number among the contributing authors but also university scholars, politicians, writers and journalists. »BuB – Forum Bibliothek und Information« has a print-run of approximately 8,000 copies per issue and is published ten times per year.
