Description
Carvelo is the sharing platform for electric cargo bikes of the Mobility Academy AG of the TCS and the Promotion Fund Engagement Migros. The offer works similar to Mobility Carsharing: You can rent the electric cargo bike, the Carvelo, by the hour or day and pick it up at the so-called host (for example your favorite bakery) and bring it back. Register for free at www.carvelo.ch. With the carvelo app, you can locate the nearest Carvelo or search for any other location. With a single click you can reserve the Carvelo you want. You can easily make extensions and cancellations of your bookings at any time via the app, and you will also find further information about us. Have fun and enjoy your ride!

Feiertage
Grundsätzlich finde ich es gut. Dass jedoch an Feiertagen die Velos nicht zu buchen sind ist ab vom
Ziel, dass alles Digital und automatisiert sein sollte. Dieser Punkt ist entscheidend deshalb nur die 3 Sterne. Das muss möglich sein, auch an Feiertag die Velos buchen zu können.
Angebot top, App braucht noch etwas
Die App entwickelt sich langsam - ich hoffe der Code wird im Gegensatz zu den Update-Hinweisen im Apostore nicht von Chat GPT verfasst.
Die neue App wirkt moderner als die alte. Dass Google Maps eingesetzt wurde, zeugt von Ignoranz in Sachen Datenschutz von von Phantasielosigkeit. Auf dem Iphone haben Google-Tracker nichts verloren, hier könnte man Apple Maps oder Openstreetmap verwenden. Das UI ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, das Kreuz beim Datepicker ist steht eher für Abbrechen - da gehört eher ein Haken hin. Die Übersetzungen sind z.T. noch falsch, z.B. „löschen“ statt „Abbrechen“ oder „Schliessen“. Dass bei vergangenen Reservationen der Button zum Öffnen der Box noch aktiv ist, ist definitiv ein Fehler. Fazit: Die App ist noch im Betastadium. Dass Liip in Sachen Maps so phantasielos ist, finde ich enttäuschend. Die Angaben im Appstore weisen auch darauf hin, dass mehr Tracker eingesetzt werden als nötig/anständig.
