* Available features vary depending on camera model and connection method. When using USB, Cascable can import images from any camera that supports the industry-standard PTP protocol, and can fully remote control and automate Canon EOS and Nikon cameras. When using WiFi, Cascable supports WiFi or Ethernet equipped cameras from the following model ranges:

- Canon EOS, PowerShot and IXUS/ELPH,
- Fujifilm X and Finepix,
- Nikon D,
- Olympus OM-D, PEN, and SH,
- Panasonic LUMIX,
- Phase One IQ4 with the XT or XF camera system,
- Sony Alpha, HX, RX, and NEX.

** Fujifilm, IXUS/ELPH models and certain older Panasonic/PowerShot models don't support RAW image transfer over WiFi. See the Cascable website for details.

Thank you for using Cascable! We're working hard on a huge update with oodles of new features — stay tuned! Until then, here's a smaller update for you.

- Fixed a bug that'd cause thumbnails for JPEG images to load incorrectly from Canon and Nikon cameras.

- Fixed a bug that could cause camera discovery to take several minutes in certain circumstances.

- Fixed the currently chosen focus peaking colour not be displayed correctly in the configuration menu.

- Improved the behaviour of rating displays when a rating is unable to be modified.

- The download button no longer permanently disappears after instructing Cascable to save an image when previewing them from a camera.

- Fixed a couple of crashes.

Import Error and Review Star Display Problem

I really like this app and it almost realizes all the functions that I expect. However, there are two problems:
1. Sometimes when I import photos from my camera, the image files are damaged.
2. After I rate my photos in Canon R5, only the JPEG photos show the rating but not the RAW photos.

So far so good

Very nice design and functionality. Are we soon be able to shoot tethered using Fuji and your app? We don’t need to transfer RAW files, only smallest JPEG to review it on big screen. As we take picture it should appear on IPad, that’s all we need 😊

Not better than Sony‘s native app

This app could be great, but on the Sony a7 III it just doesn’t improve any workflow, no it actually makes it more complicated & unpredictable.
Permanent connection losses, which require a complete re-initialization.
You cannot review the pictures taken, but if you press the “play” button on the camera for review - the connection is lost.
If you pass 5m distance to the camera even for a very short time, connection is lost.
Bluetooth GPS Connection of the Camera (via Sony App) doesn’t work with this app running.
The app doesn’t write any GPS data on the pictures. In theory it could do it when you download the picture via the app - but, you guessed it: it isn’t supported by Sony.
I really would like to “unbuy” this app and cannot recommend it at all. Unfortunately, as in theory (with other cameras/vendors?!?) this app could be great.
