DS finder allows you to set up and manage your Synology NAS, sends you NAS-related notifications, and opens your door to the world of Synology apps. And yes, all these features can be accessed directly from your phone, so wave goodbye to complicated setup and management with DS finder!
．DS finder only supports installing DSM on most models (rack mount models, desktop models of FS and XS series, and EDS14 excluded).

Can’t act on notifications received
The app is basic and I can’t act on notifications like packages are out of date. Just let me tap a button to update them from within the app. Make it useful.
Wake on lan function does not appear anymore
Since a few month is the function WOL only available after several seconds of waiting for the login to fail or even does not appear at all and the app just try to login for ever...
Could be better
It’s practical to have this app. Most of what it does can also be opening a web Session to the symbology DS. Main reason why I started using the app, was to receive notifications when things stop working.
This app also poses a (very small) risk to unauthorized access to the Disk Station: The user linked to the app must be an administrator. I would have preferred to have a less privileged user receiving the notifications, and switching to an admin user only when and where required.
