What is on the app?
An offline map of New York.
This map highlights all kinds of points in the city. From shopping to sports and from theatres to museums. Here you will find my favourite places, famous attractions, good restaurants, where to find toilets and much more. By clicking on the location you can see exactly where the location is, which metro line can get you there, and you can read more information about the place.
An offline subway map.
By using the subway map you know exactly which subway station is close to you and which line you can use to get to your destination.
Buy tickets for New York's attractions and more.
This way, you can easily purchase your discount passes, tickets for Top of the Rock, or book your American Museum of Natural History entrance.
Because the maps can be used offline, you can always see where you are in the city. You won’t need an internet connection to navigate through the Big Apple and are always able to see what you can see and do in the area you are in.
You can collect your favourite places by giving them a star. Now you can create your own map of New York with all your favourites. You can also add your own places to visit! Plan your trip and add your bucket list items to the map so you will see exactly where you need to go in the city.

Handling to be improved
I was mainly using the app to navigate the public transport system. First of all I was hoping the app would include also buses but there are only subway lines indicated on the app. But to be fair we only used the subway while in New York and only got on the bus to get to the airport.
Most annoying thing however was that it’s incredibly hard to select the stations on the map to see the names and lines. You have to tap the station multiple times, zoom in and out and some of them that are close to pre marked points of interest I didn’t even manage to select. Very annoying. This totally kills it for me.

Hi Birnane, thanks for taking the time to review my app. The bus routes can be found under 'maps'. Indeed, most people use the subway and therefore I decided to show only that on the map. I appreciate you letting me know that you need to tap the station multiple times, I will work to fix this! That is indeed not the experience I hope to give you. I hope you enjoyed New York!
