EventScripts is the iOS partner to the popular EventScripts app for OS X.

Using EventScripts and EventScript Mobile you can run any AppleScript or shell script on your Mac directly from any iPad, iPod, or iPhone on the same Bonjour network.

EventScripts Mobile uses Bonjour to discover EventScripts servers so there is no configuration necessary, just set the scripts you want to be available to your mobile device in EventScripts, and they appear automatically in EventScripts Mobile.

If required, EventScripts Mobile supports password protection, so you can be sure only you can trigger your scripts.

EventScripts Mobile requires the app EventScripts 1.05 for OS X (or later) to be installed.

Full Remote control with freedom

It was the missing piece on a Mac to fully customize triggering your own apple scripts based on events. Folder Actions are the default on a Mac but with Eventscript you can trigger even more.
With the mobile app you are able to trigger your own scripts to get full remote experience.

I use my Mac Mini as home theater and with Eventscript you don't need any other remote apps or input devices other than your iPhone

Therefore 5 stars for the idea and the implementation!
