Beschreibung

This app turns your daily walks into a nostalgic journey through the former Yugoslavia. Using your Apple Health distance data, it challenges you to "virtually" walk through all ex-Yugoslav capitals — starting in Skopje, then Podgorica, Sarajevo, Belgrade, Zagreb, and finally Ljubljana.

At each capital, you unlock a beautiful photo of the city. Along the way, discover smaller towns that would have been your next stop if you were truly on foot. The challenge? See how many days it takes you to complete the entire journey! The challenge covers a total of 1390 km, divided into five segments.

Inspired by the stories of our grandparents, who used to say they walked "20 km to school, uphill both ways," this app brings back the adventure of travel by foot. It's a reminder that no matter the distances between us, we remain neighbors, connected by history, culture, and shared memories.

Lace up your shoes and start walking — one step at a time!

More details about how it works:

- Whenever you open the app, it fetches your walking and running data from Apple Health — so make sure to grant access.
- Your health data remains on your device and is never uploaded or shared. The app does not track your location or store any user information online.
- The app doesn’t run in the background (at least not currently), so it won’t drain your battery.
- The app is completely free.
