A free simple text editor for viewing and editing any kind of text file, including TXT, RTF, RTFD, HTML, XML, markdown and more.

For files like RTF and RTFD, EZText displays them fully formatted and lets you edit all the style information, such as font, point size, color, and paragraph alignment. You can even view the raw RTF text and edit that directly. For HTML and markdown, you can view a live preview as you edit.

Remarkable App: Simple and quite powerful

This remarkable App was missing on my iPad and iPhone: an uncomplicated editor for any text file, simple but quite powerful and even free! If you are looking for a small and nice editor I recommend this one because it works very well without bells and wistles.

Einfacher Text Editor der tut, was er soll

Ich kann damit Text Dateien von allen möglichen Quellen wie Mail, OneDrive, Dropbox, Signal etc. importieren und öffnen bzw wieder teilen. Kein überflüssiges Zeugs, einfach ein Editor. Danach hab ich lange gesucht.

Was schön wäre, wäre ein Manual auf der Entwickler Website. Die Funktion von ein paar Funktionen erschliesst sich mir nicht.
ZB: was ist markdown, weshalb bekomme ich eine Fehlermeldung, weg ich eine TXT Datei in RTF konvertierte und versuche abzuspeichern.

Converting txt <-> rtf currently does not work if the file is located in iCloud. Workaround: Copy all the text in your document then create a new document in the format you want, and then paste. You can then delete the original file.
