Credit card payment option did not process

I could not process a purchase worth nearly 30K, I tried thrice but the order did not go through saying it was processing and got cancelled few hours later. I do such bulk orders twice a year as I live abroad and my parents receive the delivery and bring it to me when they come to visit me but if this does not work well then you would potentially loose a customer.
