Really solid with a few rough edges

FT has some of the most informative and balanced articles in the business. FT edit offers a thoughtful, if slightly too UK-centric selection, for a reasonable price.

Regarding the app itself, the design is one of excellent, elegant minimalism. Really love it!
However, after spending some time with it, I have experienced times when it's very slow to wake after not being in use.

I also see a bizarrely high mobile data use for what is essentially some text and a few pictures. I didn't notice it on unlimited data, but I recently took a trip abroad with a limited internet package and it ate up my entire data limit in a few days.

Thank you for your review. The reason for the data consumption is that the app currently downloads audio files so you can listen to the articles while offline. We are looking into solutions to improve this.

An eclectic selection of long and short reads of the best of the financial times

I enjoy the daily selection by the FT of quirky topics, fascinating interviews, and long in- depth analysis from a plethora of topics: finance, politics, science, travel, culinary and so many more.
