GIS 2go: Take along your geo data with GIS 2go

Having your GIS data available in the field allows you to streamline many of your processes.

With GIS 2go you can use your Cadenza Desktop data, even without an Internet connection.

GIS 2go is the GIS app for the Cadenza platform. Processing GIS data for the app is handled by the export and import module integrated in Cadenza Desktop.

This module prepares and exports the maps for mobile use and sends them to Cadenza's GIS 2go Server. Vice versa, data can also be imported back from the app to the desktop GIS. GIS 2go is available for smartphones and tablets.

There are two ways to easily synchronize data between GIS 2go and Cadenza Desktop: Data can be synchronized via a self-hosted GIS 2go Server (on-premise) or via GIS 2go (Disy's GIS cloud). Both approaches support synchronization with one or any number of mobile devices.

GIS 2go Features

Mobile Map

Take all your maps with you, ready to use on your mobile device. Based on the export settings, individual map layers are available offline. You can
- zoom and move the map section using touch gestures,
- display feature information
- jump to the current location via GPS,
- use the compass function,
- determine direction and distance to a destination
- inform yourself about distances via numerical scale and scale bar
- show and hide map layers,
- switch between geometry editing and feature info editing any time and
- display feature-related media data.

Graphic Notebook (Redlining)

Add graphic notes directly to the map while on the go. Create text notes, single nodes, lines as well as areas and complement them with photos. Back at the office you can export the notes and media created on the go and update your desktop map accordingly.

Mobile Data Management

GIS 2go offers even more: After specifically configuring a map layer in Cadenza Desktop and exporting it to GIS 2go, you may capture or edit object geometries and their attribute data in a structured way via specialist validators and key lists - even offline.
