Ground News is the world’s first news comparison platform that will help voters make better-informed decisions, drawing from more than 40,000 news sources worldwide and featuring an average of 30,000 news stories per day.

Also, included in the Mac app is our new Safari extension. Try out Ground News Bias Checker for Safari. Whenever you read a news article, our browser extension will show you who else is covering the same news story and compare how other sources from all across the political spectrum are reporting on it.

• Subscription renews annually, and you'll be able to manage this subscription in your App Store account under the 'Ground News' subscription
• Payment will be charged to your App Store Account on confirmation of purchase

There’s actually a free version!

Idk why but for some reason I decided to take a look at their site and I realised you can actually read news without a) having a subscription or b) even login in! AMAZING! This is just after half an hour or so of scrolling through the app (I have a free account now) and I really like how everything’s structured. You have individual events and if you klick on it you can see a bunch of articles about the event from all different newspapers, and here it comes, EVEN ONES THAT AREN’T WRITTEN IN ENGLISH! They a google translated by default but you can read it in the original language and after your done read about other topics relating to the event. It’s really intuitive and as someone who’s generally curious but only knew covid broke out because people in school were talking about it for days because keeping up with any newspapers doesn’t seem worth it (a tone of really unimportant unnecessary information across way too many separate sites you’d have to sift through every few hours to find some good stuff) I really enjoy spending time on this site!
