Location services
To save power we use the "significant change" location service which will update the app occasionally when you are on the move. Opt-in to give the app access to your location. To use this service we are required to ask for the "Always"-permission. We do not send your location to our servers.

We have created a widget to show your Memories directly on the device home page. Long press on the home page on your device to check out the new Jottacloud widget. We are continuously working on improving our product and adding new features, so all feedback is welcome, either through the chat in the app or by sending an email to support@jottacloud.com.

Hi, thank you for your review. The AI-models Jottacloud uses for the photo search is already pre-trained on lagre, external datasets. We do not train the model based on any data that is uploaded to Jottacloud. You can rest assured that your privacy is always a top priority at Jottacloud 😊
Lack of features
App is lacking in many basic features! Customer support come with words like WE ASSUME what the customers wants! And you get ignored when you request the most basic feature again with we assume! Very unprofessional!
