Kiwix enables you to have the whole of Wikipedia (and many other Web sites like TED talks, Stack Exchange, Gutenberg Project library, WikiHow, Khan Academy, freeCodeCamp, Youtube channels and thousands of others) available wherever you go! On a boat, in the middle of nowhere, or when data charges are too high, Kiwix gives you access to the whole human knowledge for free. You don't need Internet, everything is stored on your mobile device! Offline!
Once Kiwix installed, then download the offline Web site of your choice; either in Kiwix directly or using a third-party app by accessing our completely free online library https://library.kiwix.org.

Thanks for fixing it; version 1.13.1 now works.
Still, it was an extremely bad idea that the newer versions can‘t use older .zim files anymore. With my slow internet connection (the reason for using Kiwix in the first place!), it will take me at least 3 weeks for downloading the content again.
Does not work
The main menu as in screenshots not shown. And so it‘s not possible to select languages and download wiktionary in other languages than English.
