Here’s what’s new in version 7.39:

This version includes feature improvements and bug fixes.

[New feature] We now offer deposit and refund support. To set up deposits, create a product on Manager that represents the item and deposit amount. Then, activate the “Allow refunds” product setting and “Allow user to refund deposits on items” user permission. To process refunds on the POS, long-press the item to be refunded and select “Refund” (while in Quick Service mode) or select the “Refund” shortcut from the Order screen (while in Table Service mode).

[Bug fix] We fixed some visibility and functionality issues that sometimes occurred while entering a user password or editing floors on the POS.

[Bug fix] We fixed an issue while in QSR mode where the Pay button would sometimes become unresponsive after deleting items from the order.

[Improvement] We’ve added additional support for preauthorized payments. You can now cap the tip amount on preauthorized payments to help prevent declined transactions. For Lightspeed Payments merchants only (in the US).
