Vieles, das bis dahin Funktioniert hat geht nicht mehr.
Karten können zum Teil nicht heruntergeladen werden.
Regionen (zB. Bayern) kann nicht als ganzes, mit einem Klick heruntergeladen werden.
Die Kartennamen sind so lang, dass sie nicht mehr lesbar sind.
Lesezeichen haben zum Teil ihre Namen verloren.
Lesezeichen export?
Trail-Aufzeichnung?
Objekte sind nicht mehr in der lokalen Sprache.

Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for all the inconvenience. We’re excited to share that we have a New Year’s gift for you - an updated version of Maps.Me, just the way you’ve always loved it.

We have read your comments and listened to your suggestions, and this new app version is a result of your valuable feedback.

The functionalities that have returned:
— 100% offline capability
— Bookmarks with your personalized colors
— All maps and their points-of-interests
— Search functionality
— OSM data with granular details (hiking paths, building numbers, benches, and more)

We’ve also made some new improvements:
— No ads for all users
— Fresh color scheme and new user interface

One thing we particularly focused on were your bookmarks. The bookmarks are places associated with your memories and highlights of your journeys, so we understand how valuable they are. With this update, all of your bookmarks are back as before! After downloading this update, you will enjoy both the familiar offline maps and our new improvements.

Finally, we would like to thank you - our community of loyal users. Whether you are traveling, exploring, planning itineraries - we thank you for taking us with you. I‘ve just downloaded version by December 2020 and I can‘t believe my eyes. Maps.me used to be my favorite app on my phone but from today 19.12. on, I need to use another maps app. Gone is the detailed OSM, gone is the ability to use self-created KML routes. Sorry to see it. I really don‘t like to critisize but I don‘t know what crosses your mind when seeing and creating this whole new app.
