Does not work as advertised

A Boston MBTA ticket app which does not let you buy tickets … for the metro and the subway.

Hard to believe this made it out of the barn, even harder to believe that this app did not address major flaws in four years.

The only explanation is that the political and structural setup of MBTA does not allow addressing even most basic customer needs. (“What? Customers? What’s that?”)
