Works ok but…

…asking for full price again for the iPad version is a bit too much. An in app purchase for those who got the phone version would have been better.

Most versatile music app

I have not seen another app that is so versatile as Mconnect is.
You can chose a music source like apple music, different cloud services , Quobuz, Tidal and stream it to any renderer using upnp/dlna bluetooth or airplay. Most known formats are supported including hi res flac/DSD.
Direct control of MPD server is available.

I would like to get a feature for scrobbling/lastFm and buy music from Qobuz store within the app.

Random connectivity

I use the app to stream Qobuz music from an iphone to a Marantz connected amplifier (connected to Ethernet). The connection between this app and the ampli is random, sometimes it works sometimes not, the app often gets stuck on Airplay (which always works, but the goal of this app is to avoid using airplay as airplay does not have the same quality). To make it work, I need to restart the app and fiddle with the amplifier buttons. Once established, the connection often breaks and the reading is interrupted. None of these problems exist with the Heos app, which works seemlessly in the same setting. Unfortunately Heos supports Deezer but not Qobuz. I’m thinking of leaving Qobuz and come back to Deezer, just because this app does not work well…
