Description
filmingo offers a curated selection of arthouse films for streaming by subscription or individual rental. Run by the Swiss foundation trigon-film. On filmingo you can watch films that have screened in cinemas, discoveries form film festivals and important classics from all over the world - Brainstream rather than Mainstream. The app serves to simplify streaming of films for all users with a current subscription. It also guides you through the many movies that are available with various tabs. All films are available in Switzerland and many of them also in Germany and Austria.
How does it work?
Buy a filmingo subscription on the filmingo website and download the app to stream selected film pearls from all over the world. The subscriptions are managed via the website, the app is for streaming only.
Features
- You can find the latest film additions, the most popular films as well as current film lists and film tips in the filmingo tab.
- Browse through various genres, film lists, the favourite films of well-known directors or discover films by region in the Discover tab.
- Use the "My List" Tab and function to add films to create your own film list.
- Search for director name, country or title and use additional filters in the search.

* In certain cases, movies could not be continued via freshly connected Chromecast devices. We implemented a fix to correct this behaviour.

Beautiful App but not available on AppleTV
Why is this app not available on the AppleTV? Seems like a logical place to watch movies… Otherwise great.

Untertitel?
Wie lange müssen wir noch auf ein Update der App warten, welches das Problem mit fehlenden oder nur unzuverlässig angezeigten Untertiteln behebt?
Auch die Wiederaufnahme eines Films an der zuletzt geschauten Stelle funktioniert nicht.
Sehr schade, wenn ein so tolles Angebot mit einer derart fehlerhaften App daherkommt.

Auch auf dem neueste iOS friert die App immer noch ein wenn ich mich einloggen will.
