Seamless

I beta tested for this app and it’s been great to see it come along. Even in its early stages it was useful. From finding a paper, adding it to my library, annotating the pdf and adding it to manuscripts this app makes the whole workflow easy. One less hassle in an academics life!

With zotero coming to iOS what’s the advantage?

With Zotero being the defacto standard for ref management, free and open source end to end solution, what’s the advantage of paperpile?

Nonetheless the UI looks really bad on iPhone X at least. Top bar with the search box squashed up against the edge of the screen and barely usable, and the app is not native.

I wish developers would stop forcing google ui style on iOS users. If you’re charging for this, make the effort to make it usable.

Thanks for the feedback. As with everything, it's great that there are choices out there. We mainly focus on the needs of our users and are excited to have built an enthusiastic community of tens of thousands of customers over the past years. Our data suggest that many thousands actually switched from Zotero. I guess they also appreciate having a choice...
