Description
"ParkSmart Basel is the official parking app of the city of Basel. It not only allows you to pay parking fees at parking meters, but also to purchase visitor parking permits for the Blue Zone.
Parking meters:
Select your parking meter via app and conveniently pay the parking fee by the minute using your smartphone. If you are back early, simply stop your parking process. This way, you will only be charged for the effective parking time.
Blue Zone:
Would you like to park in a Blue Zone? Simply buy a visitor parking permit via app for the whole or only half day. ParkSmart Basel also helps you to set the parking disc.
Registration is simple: all you need is your license plate and a means of payment - and you're ready to park.
The following means of payment are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Postfinance and TWINT.

Besten Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung. Mit ParkSmart Basel stellen wir bereits mit der ersten Version Funktionen zur Verfügung, welche von anderen Parking-Apps nicht angeboten werden.
Unsere App ist nicht auf gebührenpflichtige Parkflächen begrenzt. Sie bietet dem Benutzer eine einheitliche und intuitive Oberfläche, um z.B. auch in der blauen Zone oder auf Warenumschlagsplätzen parkieren zu können.
Zudem können Sie mit unserer App bequem Besucher-Parkkarten lösen und Anwohner-Parkkarten verlängern.
Wir haben unzählige Ideen, welche nützlichen Funktionen wir in Zukunft mit unserer App anbieten möchten.

Ich denke, die App ist keine Konkurrenz für Park&Pay sondern eine Ergänzung.
Ich nutze sie selber gerne für Besucher und Tageskarten, dafür ist sie sehr praktisch!
Schade um die schlechten Bewertungen, das hat sie denke ich, nicht verdient.
