Ich ersetze step-by-step meine Kameras mit Reolink. Es macht einfach spass mit der App und es funktioniert immer tadellos. Ich kann Reolink sehr weiter empfehlen.

A total disaster

The app doesn’t work properly, it is almost impossible to download a video when you are not home as the connection is unstable. I wrote reolink about this major issue, they couldn’t do anything. The reason is simple : though you have your own NVR disk, the app doesn’t connect directly to it but through reolink server. This is a major conception flaw. Reolink server is a big shame. I missed plenty of alerts that I couldn’t simply not download and wasted hours trying to fix it. Again, when you are home on the same wifi network than the NVR (probably the case with the users writing a positive review) it works just fine as you re not going through reolink server. This problem occurs on iPhone the app but also on your computer app (as the problem comes from reolink server).

Furthermore, concerning the alerts, the app doesn’t show the little screenshot with the main movement like the other camera app (arlo, sighthound, etc), meaning you have to click on every single alerts to see what has been recorded. No specific algo for people or animals either. It takes literally hours to check your cameras. Terrible conception, do not go for it, at any cost.

Reolink’ software is catastrophic but the hardware is good though, so the only way I found not to change my system (as Reolink couldn’t refund me!) is to connect the NVR through a fix IP using sighthound app (or equivalent).
