Sanitas Coach is a medical app that helps you control your blood pressure and maintain a healthy lifestyle. With Sanitas Coach, you have a "digital coach" at your side that assists you in properly measuring your blood pressure and gives you personalised recommendations based on your readings and progress.
The app is based on medical guidelines for hypertension and is being developed in collaboration with doctors from the Hannover Medical School.
To use the Sanitas Coach app, you will need your own blood pressure monitor (list of blood pressure monitors with a seal of accuracy: https://www.hochdruckliga.de/betroffene/blutdruckmessgeraete).

To register with Sanitas Coach, you will need your Sanitas Health Insurance number and your date of birth.

Interactive coaching and feedback
A central feature of the Sanitas Coach app is interactive coaching with the chatbot Liva. The digital chatbot helps you document your blood pressure readings in accordance with the guidelines, reminds you to take your measurements and medication, and gives you specific recommendations on recommended actions.
Collaboration with your doctor
By documenting reliable blood pressure values according to the recognised protocol, you provide your doctor with a crucial data basis for optimising your blood pressure management and treatment. You can generate a report from the app at any time and share it with your doctor.
Goals for nutrition, exercise, and relaxation
You will receive a health plan with individual goals, and you can automatically track your steps with Apple Health.

Answer quiz questions and complete exciting knowledge lessons and self-tests.

Your interactive coach
Liva is a chatbot that accompanies you throughout your daily life. She asks you questions in an interactive chat and tailors your blood pressure management to your needs. She motivates you towards your goals, guides you, and provides valuable information about your health.
Blood pressure monitoring
Liva helps you document your blood pressure readings and reminds you to take measurements. Based on your values, Liva provides recommendations. You can export and send your diaries and graphs as PDFs at any time.
Medication
Liva provides weekly feedback on medication adherence and works with you to develop strategies for taking your medications more regularly.
Blood sugar diary
If you have type 2 diabetes, Liva helps you keep a diary of your blood sugar levels.
Sleep diary
Liva helps you keep a sleep diary to better understand your sleep. She also guides you through sleep restriction therapy to help you get back to sleep.
Personal plan for a healthy lifestyle
You will receive your personal health plan with individual goals for nutrition, exercise, and relaxation.

Tips and fun quizzes about blood pressure, blood sugar, correct measuring techniques, and sleep provide helpful information and empower you to manage your condition confidently.
