It‘s amazing that you can donate so simply from your phone. It‘s great that you can see the individual projects and decide where to donate, if you want. It‘s good there are informations to the projects. It‘s good that you can approximately see where and how your money is used. Transparency is very important. The user interface is simple to use.
But only 62% of the money goes to the food programme??? And 28% (almost the half of the 62%) to fundraising and marketing? If you think that makes sense, it‘s maybe okay that these are the default settings. But I think it would be great if we could change the proportions individually for our donations (with a slider or different buttons with different options). So people could choose individually to donate less to fundraising but more to people in need, for example:
76% / 90% Food programme
14% / 0% Fundraising
How to rate this app?
If we look at the aim of the program you deserve 5 out of 5 but if we look at the payment methods it's a solid 1 out of 5. I would like to be an anonymous donor. I belive also that any UN organization should know my full name my bank my card type... If I wish transparency or to have a detailed list of spendings made by my donation I will ask for it. Why we can't just use any account or even iTunes gift cards?
