ShoppingList is the first and one of the most used shopping list apps for the iPhone.
With ShoppingList you have your shopping list on your iPhone or iPod touch.
So you can benefit of a multiplicity of advantages:
• simply add, remove and rearrange the individual entries
• group products by category
• add amount (also nonstandard measurements)
• add prices (ShoppingList automatically calculates the sum)
• have as many lists as you want
• comfortably choose from your recent and frequently used products
• Dropbox sync: Lists are automatically synchronized between devices
• Barcode scanner: products can be easily entered by scanning their barcode

Simpler Helfer mit versteckten Funktionen
Zugegeben, es mag nicht auf anhieb klar sein, wie Einträge aus der vordefinierten Produkteliste gelöscht werden (mit dem Finger nach links wischen und dann bestätigen), doch ist die Funktion immerhin vorhanden. Ebenso lassen sich Mengenangaben frei definieren, was auf den ersten Blick auch nicht klar ist. Das Rad der Mengenangabe wird dabei leer gelassen und ins Mengentextfeld getippt. Daraufhin lässt sich nach der Zahl eine beliebige Mengenangabe schreiben, die dann zu den übrigen ins Rad aufgenommen wird.
Soweit zu den versteckten Funktionen. Die ShoppingList ist sehr simpel gehalten und bietet keine besonderen Zusätze. Wünschenswert wäre zum Beispiel die Möglichkeit, einzelne Listen zu speichern. So könnten Lebensmittel eines bestimmten Menüs gespeichert und später wieder aufgerufen werden.
Mit ShoppingList liefert uns Werner Freytag den Einkaufszettel aufs iPhone. So können jederzeit und an jedem Ort Produkte hinzugefügt werden. Beim nächsten Einkauf geht nichts mehr vergessen. Die Applikation ist zudem liebevoll gestaltet.
Getting worse…
The app was always a pain to use but recently syncing via Dropbox stopped working… I‘ve switched to „Bring!“ and now shopping is fun again.

Thank you for your review. Just today we have released ShoppingList 4. This completely replaces Dropbox with iCloud. Unlike Bring, it does not transfer data to other services. Maybe you will give ShoppingList 4 another chance!?
Excellent shopping list app
Very practical. Share with Dropbox is nice, it would be perfect to access a cloud with WebDAV…
