Beschreibung
Download all your original images and videos from your SmugMug account to your local harddrive. You can even include the metadata, such as titles and location, that was edited in SmugMug.
Smudo fetches all of your galleries and saves them in the selected destination folder, replicating the SmugMug hierarchy. You can run Smudo multiple times, existing files will be skipped.
Smudo can't alter or delete your images in any way. When signing in, you will be redirected to the SmugMug website, so Smudo doesn't need to know or store your login credentials.

Finally a reliable tool to backup your SmugSmug content
I was looking for a solution to download all content from SmugMug as I wanted to cancel their service. But they dont offer any solution to download all content at once, they only offer a solution to download gallery per gallery. When you have a few galleries that is no problem, but when you have literally hundreds of folders and galleries inside, it becomes impossible to download.
I found Smudo app and it does what it advertises, I wish it would have a bit more clarity in regards of the "Failed" items, its not clear why these items failed, I got already 818 of them failed and I am at 68% of my whole download process. The good thing is that then I can tell it to just retry on the failed ones and the already downloaded ones should be skiped.
Nice app for less than USD 9. Compared to the PickBackMan tool which costs 10 times more does the job. Thank you.
