The Surfr. App is a performance tracking app for Kite boarders. With the app kite boarders can record, view and share their performance:
- Jumps (height, airtime, distance)
- Speed

In addition to these 'game' features the app also contains a safety features in order to keep kite boarders as safe as possible such as the possibility to trace back the board when GPS location is shared.

Also the app is able to track the path the user has surfed over water. This path/track can optionally be stored as well.

The Surfr. App is meant to be used with a board mount in order to mount a phone to a kite board.

** Multi-language!
The Surfr app is now available in English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Dutch.

** Jump videos!
Have you always wanted to make those cool jump videos where you see your height, airtime, and distance on top of your footage like the pros do? Now you can! Export any jump to video and overlay it in your editor. Check our Instagram for more information.

** On-board coaching v2
For the Apple Watch, the onboard coaching feature has been significantly updated, now providing even more value to help you improve your riding and jump higher.

** Freemium
A PRO subscription is no longer needed to get started with the Apple Watch. You can now start using your Apple Watch right away, without needing to buy a PRO subscription. This way, you can get to know the Surfr app on your watch without subscribing to anything. After 5 sessions, some features will be locked, but you will still be able to use your Apple Watch to track GPS and speed-related metrics with the Free version.

** Leaderboard filters
You can now filter leaderboards for any day or any period you want. We’ve added new filter options and improved the user interface to make it easier.

** Leaderboard emails + social sharing
Made it to the leaderboard? From now on, you'll receive an email at the end of the day with a nice graphic showing your position on the leaderboard for the spot, country, continent, or even the world. Just click the Share button to post your result to your socials with one click!

Apple Watch

Wearing the watch over a wetsuit: the terse solution of deactivating the passcode is completely unacceptable. I won't pay a subscription of 44 francs a year for something like that. - Not like this!
