Leider funktioniert das System mangelhaft. Immer wieder werden bereits belegte Waschmaschinen zugewiesen oder Waschvorgänge in der Mitte einfach abgebrochen.

I’m very annoyed that if I used the app I have to allow location services in order to be able to see the available laundry rooms.. I feel like this is not necessary, why isn’t it possible to simply search an address.. this needs improvement in my opinion. I’m already forced by my landlord to use an external service to do my laundry, I don’t see why I should be forced to share my location

Other thing.. the app is not optimised for iPhone X/Xs

Edit: it’s ever worse than I thought. I was assuming that was I reserve the machine, I’d have to somehow unlock it with my phone. While this isn’t the case, meaning that theoretically while it is reserved anyone could try to start it. This doesn’t seem ideal to me

Dear WeWash User, at WeWash we equip private laundry rooms. Therefore, for security reasons, we first of all don’t provide an option to look up an address in order to find a laundry room and second of all only show laundry rooms that are within 250m of your location. This way we ensure, that only authorized people have access to the respective laundry room. This is also why it is necessary for you to share your GPS location with us – only once to select the laundry room! Afterwards you can turn the GPS off again as it is not required anymore. Our new WeWash App (it’s available for download in the App Store – just update your app) is optimised for different display sizes, which means we also support iPhone X/XS. Regarding your update: In the reservation notification we inform each user about the machine number that has been reserved for him/her. The users then put their laundry in the respective machine. In the unlikely event, that someone accidentally starts a machine, that wasn’t initially reserved for him/her, there is the “Not my laundry” option, which will allow you to get in touch with our customer support.
