For auto-renewing membership plans, your iTunes account will be charged at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the previously selected rate. Your payment will continue to automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours prior to your next renewal date. Your WeightWatchers Core membership can be managed or canceled in your Apple ID account settings. The auto-renewing membership plan is billed monthly and gives you access to our digital tools.

For non-renewing membership plans, your iTunes account will be charged once at the time of purchase and will give you access to a WeightWatchers Core membership for one year.

Hin- und hergerissen

Meine Kommentare beziehen sich nur auf die App, nicht auf das WW-Programm/Konzept als solches.

Die App unterstützt im Alltag ungemein, beim Tagebuch führen und Tracken von Gewicht und Aktivitäten. Sie hat aber auch lästige Mängel:

- In einer früheren Version „merkte“ sich die App häufige Aktivitäten - seit einiger Zeit muss man sie sich immer neu aus der Liste suchen. Beim Speichern in den Favoriten wird immer zuerst die Lebensmittel-Liste geöffnet, auch wenn man aus dem Aktivitäts-Bildschirm die Favoriten öffnet. Die damit nötigen Zusatzklicks sind lästig.

- „Häufige Mahlzeiten“ lassen sich immer nur komplett auf einen neuen Tag übertragen; ob ein einzelnes Lebensmittel/Gericht angezeigt und einzeln übertragbar ist gleicht einem Zufallsgenerator.

- Ganz besonders lästig finde ich, dass sich die Milestones nicht zurücksetzten lassen (bspw. nach einer versehentlichen Falscheingabe des Gewichts). Das Problem besteht schon lange, WW‘s lapidarer Kommentar dazu war so ungefähr „das geht halt nicht“. Beeinträchtigt zwar nicht die Funktionalität, stört aber gewaltig - denn so fehlt einer der wesentlichen Motivationsbausteine.

- Die Filterauswahlen sind nahezu unbrauchbar - Auswahl nach Restauranttypen ergibt bspw eine riesig lange Liste, die sich nicht feiner unterteilen lässt (zB nach Vor- und Hauptspeisen, Fleisch, etc.). Die grosse Datenbank wird so zu einem wesentlichen Teil überflüssig bzw. unbrauchbar.

- Die Filterung der Rezepte nach Frühstück / Mittag / Abend funktioniert nicht - die Liste bleibt nach Auswahl eines solchen Filters immer leer.
