With the zigfred app, you can set up your zigfreds and connected smart home devices according to your preferences. After the set up you can easily control them with your smartphone. In no time at all, you customize the functions of your zigfred's front buttons.
Replace your old light switch with zigfred and wire it to your existing lights or devices. Then control the connected lights with the zigfred app or with your existing smart home solution.
With zigfred, you can also add other compatible lights and devices to your smart home network and control them with the app, such as Philips Hue or IKEA Tradfri.
In a nutshell:
• You can freely assign the functions of your zigfred's buttons and "virtually wire" your home as you wish.
• You can control zigfred and many other zigbee devices with this app via Bluetooth Low Energy*.
• You can use zigfred as a standalone Zigbee gateway or use your existing compatible gateway**.
• You can control zigfred directly from the Philips Hue app or by voice***.
• You can integrate existing conventional lamps into your Philips Hue network***.

- New ZBOSS version (Zigbee stack): A critical bug in the join procedure over multiple hops, as well as the loss of the Zigbee address could be resolved. A factory reset is recommended if zigfred is already joined to a network.
- Overhauled autocalibration of blinds connected to zigfred plus.
- Dimmable scheme 3/6 operation on zigfred plus.
- LED light is now pulsing during network join procedure.
- Firmware can now be updated without online connectivity.
- The app language can now be set independently on the welcome screen or in the network menu.

Geniale Idee, noch nicht ganz fertig
Ich habe den Zigfred erst als Testgerät in Betrieb, bisher macht er alles was er soll und die App funktioniert soweit auch zuverlässig. Ich freue mich bereits auf die Timer Funktion und die Anwesenheitssimulation, wenn er das kann gibts 5 Sterne 👍🏻
Update 8.2023: Läuft seit 1 Jahr stabil als Lichtschalter/Dimmer/Schnittstelle zu externem Schaltaktor. Nichts auszusetzen soweit. Einzig schade, dass die Entwicklung der smarten Features sehr schleppend voran geht.

Wo bleibt das Thread (+Matter) Update? Hab mir damals den Zigfred mit der Hoffnung gekauft, dass aus dem „ Thread (hardware-ready)“ bald ein „Thread (software-ready)“ wird.
