With the Iconic Fernie App you can explore Fernie’s many amazing self-guided, themed tours by foot, bike, or vehicle. From history to arts, Rocky Mountain viewing spots, old growth forests, family fun, food, nature and more!

Visit each location for a deeper, more meaningful experience and find out what makes Fernie so special.

As an added free feature, choose to collect points at every location you visit and redeem points for rewards at participating locations around town.

Create an Account
With a free Iconic Fernie account, you can collect points, and redeem them for discounts, goods or services at Rewards locations in Fernie.

Explore
The Explore button takes you to the list of themed self-guided tours, from Best View Spots, Artistic Explorations and Local Heritage to Nature Walks, Family Fun and the unique Taste of Fernie.

Collect Points
All locations are assigned a point value, which can be collected when you are within GPS range of a location and have a connection to the internet. Pushing the “Collect Points” button while physically visiting a location will add the location’s points to your point total. The more locations you explore, the more points you collect. A free Iconic Fernie account is necessary in order to collect points and redeem rewards. You can track your point total on Your Account page.

Redeem Rewards
Once you collect enough points, those points can be redeemed for various rewards at the Iconic Fernie Rewards locations, which are indicated in the app. Hitting the “Redeem Rewards” button while physically at a Rewards location will bring up a keypad for the location’s staff to enter a code to deduct points from your point total in exchange for your reward. You must have an internet connection in order to redeem points.
