This essential VINner tool was created by VIN Consultants with input from many other specialists, pharmacologists, and pharmacists. It includes basic drug information such as pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, indications, contraindications, therapeutic dosages, adverse events, and drug interactions for drugs commonly used in veterinary medicine. Whenever available, controlled studies and pharmacokinetic data are used to generate dosage information. However, some doses may be based on historical anecdotal use or published information from a case or case series. Listed references also include drug product information, textbook chapters, and conference proceedings.

The VVDH is regularly updated as new drugs and information emerge and with suggestions from VIN members.

- Fixed issue where random backgrounds appeared in drug content.
- Disabled auto-hide for the reference popup in the drug detail screen; the popup now only closes when the user clicks the close button at the top right.
- Enhanced UI layout in landscape mode for mobile devices.
- Adjusted UI for devices with notches, ensuring content is not covered by the notch.
- Fixed issue where some table contents were displayed in containers that were too small, preventing them from appearing at full height in the drug detail screen.
- Fixed issue where some images were not displayed in the drug detail screen.
