My story:

I am a primary school teacher from Ireland ; I’m also an entrepreneur with a mission. As a teacher, I’ve always been passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences for my students. But there was one persistent frustration: homework.

Like many of you, I struggled with the challenge of making homework meaningful and enjoyable. I wanted to provide differentiated assignments tailored to each student’s needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. But doing this consistently seemed impossible with the limited tools available.

One evening, after another frustrating day of trying to make homework work for everyone, I had a revelation. What if there was an app specifically designed to tackle this problem for Irish teachers? I knew that if I could pinpoint the exact issues we face and then brainstorm solutions, I could create something truly transformative.

Driven by this idea, I started jotting down every problem I encountered with homework. I reached out to fellow teachers to understand their struggles as well. The common themes were clear: lack of personalisation, difficulty in tracking progress, and the struggle to keep students motivated.

Turning these insights into action wasn’t easy. I faced countless trials and frustrations, but each obstacle only fueled my determination. I tested various solutions, refined my ideas, and sought feedback from educators and parents alike. Slowly but surely, my vision began to take shape.

Today, I’m proud to introduce HomeworkHelp, an innovative app designed specifically for Ireland’s primary school teachers and students. This app offers homework autonomy, tracks progress, and makes learning fun and engaging. It’s the solution I wish I had years ago, and I believe it can make a real difference in our classrooms.
