厦门市民卡APP由厦门市市民卡领导小组办公室主办，厦门市民数据服务股份有限公司、银联商务股份有限公司厦门分公司共同建设，是作为全国首个推出的，以信用服务模式，按全市统一二维码技术规范建设的手机应用客户端，实现了市民卡用户与行业部门用户体系的互认互通，在市民卡APP上整合了医社保、交通、医疗、文体、商业零售支付等功能，构建线上线下无缝对接的多卡融合服务体系。
