期货开户云在原版本开立期货账户的基础上，又新增了增开交易编码以及独立适当性的功能，并且对于界面和性能进行了部分优化。
期货开户云App是中国期货市场监控中心通过云技术，为期货公司提供免费的互联网开户业务。
投资者可使用该App办理期货网上开户业务，目前支持大连商品交易所，郑州商品交易所，上海期货交易所和中国金融期货交易所的自然人客户（限中国大陆居民）开户功能。
期货互联网开户的主要流程包括：
1. 用户登录
2. 阅读协议
3. 影像资料
4. 填写基本资料
5. 适当性调查（包含风险揭示）
6. 采集银行卡信息
7. 视频见证
8. 安装数字证书
9. 金融知识测评（选择金融期货时需要）
