When travellers are in distress GEAR Tech provides direct access to the SPS Global Response Centre. Our team of experts will advise, guide and if required send medical or security support to extract you to safety.
Access to GEAR Tech is provided through the GEAR membership programme.
The GEAR Membership programme is a Global Emergency Assistance and Response Membership, focussed on providing evacuation from life threatening situations.
GEAR Tech is a powerful mobile solution that assists travellers by providing real-time status warnings, alerts, country security, travel and medical information. It allows for push and SMS alerts to help you navigate potential danger, such as extreme weather warnings, political and civil unrest, and terrorism threats. If you are under threat, simply activate the emergency button to communicate with the SPS Global Response Centre who are on hand to assist members.
The GEAR membership provides assistance to a full range of situations such as:
