Welcome to Lakewoods Resort!
Our award winning 18-hole golf course gives you a true northwoods golf experience: tree-lined fairways offer glimpses of abundant wildlife while spectacular scenery and unbelievable vistas over woodland ponds and wetlands are the norm. At the same time, it offers a challenging, well-maintained golf course, with unique holes based upon the glacial terrain and pristine lakes. It’s the perfect place to gather with your friends and enjoy the game or to host a wonderful event with the fine staff and accommodations at Lakewoods.
The architect of the course is internationally known Joel Goldstrand, a Minnesota native who has designed a number of stunning courses throughout the Midwest. Built in the 1990s, Forest Ridges is 6,066 yards long from the tips with four tee positions, three water holes and 11 carries.
For a complete golf experience, Forest Ridges offers a teaching area, driving range, practice putting area and a full-service pro shop selling apparel, clubs, balls and golf-related equipment. As an ultra convenient Wisconsin golf getaway, stay in one of the luxurious golf villas right on the course!
