The real deal - is this

THE GOOD · The sound quality really is exceptional : better than Tidal’s, better than anyone’s. On my WH-1000XM5 headphones, even–and this was quite a surprise–the cd, 16 bit / 44 kHz records did sound better than Tidal’s — so this is not just a matter of bit depth and sample rates. I actually realised, as I got acquainted with Qobuz, that Tidal modifies the records or something — oftentimes damaging them (not always though; sometimes even improving them, actually – just sometimes); but Qobuz most certainly offers the greatest FIDELITY. Ok, now THE BAD · The app is really unreliable — it’s not ugly (neither is beautiful…), but it crashes all the time (so far not once quite so seriously but still always annoyingly) for no reason and its load times are te_rri_bleee. –like, they’re not ‘impossible’ but they are the worst of the market, and this service is the costliest.– Then there’s two mandatory improvements: the app doesn’t offer lyrics for any song nor an EQ — which at this tier’s like, seriously?! … However I recommend the service 100% (so long as it doesn’t just offline or something - the app really feels unreliable) because it does offer the highest sound quality, and perhaps as it takes more cash in –more subscribers I mean– it will fix the bugs and grow technically better. I have faith in you Qobuz! You’ve given life back to music haha.
