Here's how it works:
You get a blank notepad and can type right away. What you type goes straight into your Notion. It works best with a dedicated page (like "Inbox" or "Quick Notes") but you can easily change pages per note if you want.
You can now either keep this note around for a while (good for e.g. a quick shopping list) or just clear the notepad and enter a new note. Either way, it's synced to your Notion so you don't have to worry about finding it later.
Minimal by design:
Quick Note is focused on purpose. It doesn't display any existing page content. It only submits the text you enter. To read, browse, and format, please use the Notion iOS or Mac app.
Current limitations:
You can only append to regular pages. Inserting new entries to database pages will follow in a later version.

Just what I was looking for.
I have an iPhone 6. I use Notion to organize my life. Here's a common problem I have:
I'm in a conversation, someone recommends a book or a movie and I want to write it down on Notion. Notion takes forever to load up, and by the time it loads up, I create a new note, and type up the book, nearly a minute has passed.
So I wanted to get things into Notion fast. And that's exactly what this app does. I have the idea. I hit he app icon. It opens up almost instantly. I type my idea and it syncs with a "quick note" page in Notion. Later in the week, I look at the page and collate the ideas, putting them in their right spot and I don't forget anything.
Well done. Totally worth paying for.
The support was fast. I had a problem. The developer wrote me in 20 minutes. Solved the problem a few hours later and had a new version uploaded to the App Store within 24 hours.
The only improvements I'd like to see would be some sort of markdown support. For example, if you type a "- " it shows up in Notion as a bullet, or if you type "[]" it shows up a todo box. But it's really a small thing.
