The Pákozd Military Memorial Park - the only National Memorial in the Lake Venice area - offers the opportunity to get acquainted with the Park and its surroundings and to learn about our military history by using the most modern mobile digital exhibition guide.
Complex multimedia guided tours provide users of the application with special and additional information based on their current position. With the help of videos, they can get an insight into the everyday life of trench fights, listen to the story of Don’s breakthrough at the chapel, and learn about the details of the T55 at the ’56 memorial.

The Mészeg Hill, which rises on the border of Pákozd, has witnessed or been the scene of several war events in the last 400 years. In 1593, Pasha Hassan's defeated Turkish army was defeated by Hungarian knights on the outskirts of the village, and on September 29, 1848, the first victorious battle of the War of Independence took place in the vicinity of Mészeg Hill. A II. in World War I, from 1944, the area housed a section of the Margaret Line. It was an important military site during the period of the People's Army, also in peacetime, as the Hungarian People's Army celebrated it here in 1951-91. between the Armed Forces Day.
The area hosting historical events still provides a worthy environment for its military past.
