I’ve been losing data for google maps very often😔

I normally use Google maps and in the past day I went to a address a hour from where I am and got there with no problem, and once I was in the place I open maps and it didn’t have signal or data to download the map, I drove until I had signal and didn’t work not even I was getting texts, I had no clue where was I, and had to begin to ask (old school addresses) to be able to get back. Once I was at the house I connected my cellphone to wifi from the house and got missed phone call and texts.. it wasn’t a good experience.
