Description
31177 (text messages) or 3117 (contact centre) is the emergency number of the available 24/7 over the entire French railway system to report a dangerous situation you are the witness or victim of.
SNCF operators take your call straight away
And get in touch with the most appropriate service to assist and protect you. They are trained for all types of situations, Including Attack Alerts.
Our advice
Accept geolocation. It enables operators and emergency services to intervene faster and more efficiently. Choose text messages to 3117 7 over a phone call, as they enable to discreetly report on a situation, without endangering oneself.
Keep in mind
So as to keep in touch, the caller’s phone number will be stored.
The conversation is recorded in accordance with emergency calls usage.
Misusing this number may lead you to prosecution.
