Excellent overall - tiny few snags
Bolt is great - safe and reliable. I wish there was a button to specifically ask for non smoking taxis - a few drivers in Cyprus smoke in their vehicles and the stench is present even if they’re not smoking while on the job
Google Maps and connection issues
The app had been excellent in every way before it started relying on Google Maps. Those are the worst maps after Apple’s! Many roads and locations don’t exist according to them. Go back to using Open Street Maps: they are free, accurate, detailed and updated continuously.
The other issue is Internet speed. The latest versions seem to be designed for a very fast Internet and are failing to see the 3G network on slower connections. Not all countries have the Internet speeds of Estonia. Please note that if you are offering your app and services elsewhere.
Minus two stars for the useless maps and minus one star for the Internet speed appetite.

You are not safe
I am bolt user like few years. And today driver was very rude, declined to drive me when I ask him to make a change in route and then trued to attack me and scared my 7 years son. I reported incident to Bolt support , but they did nothing and stays for driver. He said I was rude and hit his car. But I have incident security cameras. And they don’t care even when I can prove, driver was dangerous to me and my son.
I would never use it again and will tell all my friends.
About driver - Bolt refuse do anything, in situation like this call the police immediately . And don’t use this app - they just don’t care
