Description
The official application of the Cypriot Government where EU citizens can download the EU Digital COVID Certificate aimed at facilitating safe free movement of citizens in the EU during the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVPASS app works with full security of personal data.
The EU Digital COVID Certificate was created to allow Member States to adjust their present public health restrictions to facilitate cross-border travel for their citizens.
An EU Digital COVID Certificate is a digital proof that a person has either
• been vaccinated against COVID-19
• received a negative test result or
• recovered from COVID-19
The general features of the EU Digital COVID Certificate are:
• Available in a digital and/or printed version
• With QR code
• Free of charge
• Available in Greek and English
• Secure, protected and authenticated
• Privacy of personal data
• Available in Greek and English

Does not keep vaccination info between updates
There are no adequate information on what you need to scan and how to get it. And then, the first update cleared out the vaccination information and had to do the process all over again! That would have been a real treat if I was not lucky enough to discover it before I actually needed it!
Works but...
The app works great! It would be nice if i could find my certificate through the app or be able to scan it from a saved screenshot instead of having to print or send the certificate on another device then scan it. Also i had to create a new certificate as the TAN number wasn't visible on the pdf i already had saved on my phone .
.
Lastly since this is an iOS app it would be much appreciated if i could import the certificate into the native wallet app 🙂
Improvements needed
It was not very clear how to add certificate at the beginning so I suggest to developers to add understandable instructions in the app. Please also add “save to apple wallet” option.
It was also very disappointing to find out that certificate magically disappeared at the most inconvenient moment.
However I am glad we don’t need anymore to carry printed / pdf EUDCC certificates.
