Foody Cyprus - Food Delivery 4+

I have used foody many times. If your order will be delivered by foody, most probably the estimated time of arrival will change 3-4 times. I tried to find a way to communicate with them but there is no way to contact them, only by email. I called the shop and they told be that they have been waiting for the delivery guy from foody for more than 40 minutes. It has been already 1 hour and 30 minutes, the shop is now closes and my order still has not arrived. Just download BOLT OR WOLT.

This company is the worst! They have no control over their delivery drivers. In my case, I ordered something, and the driver called me to say he was downstairs in my building. I told him which buzzer to ring, but then I received a notification that the delivery was completed without even hearing the doorbell. I called the driver twice, but he didn't pick up. Then, an unknown number called to ask if I ordered food. Turns out, the delivery driver had left the food in the building next door, and he took off even though I tried to explain that I didn't order anything. So, I had to go to the next building to retrieve my package.

The problem is, I don't even know the person the delivery was intended for, and I had to get it from them. I'm concerned about the food's safety. I reached out to their support team through their live chat, and while they responded quickly, I asked them to either refund my money or provide a coupon. They gave me a McDonald's coupon, even though I never order from there. Come on!

I've had enough. I'm deleting my account and the app from my phone. Luckily, there are other delivery apps out there that are more professional and have better control over their operations.

I ordered food via app in the same shop I usually do. Before I paid cash and all was ok. Two days ago I went to the same shop “Alion and more Limassol”, went to check out and received a confirmation request from my bank. My bad, I didn’t check the company name, I saw the correct amount and confirmed the transaction. After a few hours waiting I’ve checked the order status but there was no any order in my app. I have checked my bank and found the transaction for the right amount but for the strange company name. The worse thing in this that there is no any possibility to contact the app about this so I should write it here to notice that the app is not secure or partners (shops) are not secure which doesn’t matter for me as a customer.
