Find the missing link(s)

There are plenty of colourful puzzle games out there, but few are imbued with as much personality as Best Fiends Stars.

Here in Minutia, there’s a bouncy joie-de-vivre in every winking cartoon critter and slobbering slug. This Lilliputian world plays host to rival Fiends and Slugs, who are fighting to scoop up all the treasure falling from a shooting star.

Each link performs attacks on the Slugs at the top of the screen, but passing each stage isn’t just a case of hammering at these unfortunate, anthropomorphised molluscs.

Every level has a different set of win conditions, which keeps play varied. As the doodads and power-ups in each stage stack on top of each other, increasingly you must stop and think about every move you make.

And outside of each stage, the feeling of progress through Minutia is a delight, as you travel across beautiful grassy vistas, deep blue pirateship-infested waters and beyond.
