Ratings and Reviews
Well crafted, but unfinished
Abi has a lot of potential. The atmosphere of an abandoned world, where robots long for their human masters, who left for a mysetrious Metropolis city, is well built. Ruins and forgotten buildings, everypresent wind and sand and atmospheric music gives the game an unique feeling. The two main characters Abi and DD play well together and there’s a lot of emotions to their interactions and story. However, this is exactly where the game falls short. There are plenty of stories and even partial puzzles, which are started, but never finished. The game feels too short and most of the story remains untold. Just like a teasing pilot of a longer TV show, without the rest of the chapters, which are missing badly. From technical point of view, there are some minor glitches here and there, which may be sorted out in future updates (not so lucky and often too quick switches between dialogs - comics bubbles - and top screen subtitles, no-so-good typewriting, such as spaces before question and exclamation marks, weird icons, such as sharing icon used as exit, etc.) The game is obviously designed for a bigger screen, which makes it quite unplayable on an iPhone 6-size screen (finally finished it on an iPad Pro 12,9’’). All iPads should be fine, however. Fingers crossed for the developers. I understand it may be hard to find a profitable way, how to finish the game, but I wish they’ll be able to do so one day.
Wow.. that was short
Nice, but would like to play more then just a demo.
Nice but short
Funny and very beautiful game but short as hell. I finished it in one hour.
